TURNS & JUMPS WORKSHOP w/Susy
NEW LOCATION & NEW TIME SLOT!
JUMP into fall as it TURNS into October!
Starting this October our Freaks In Training Sunday Workshop Series will be at a new location! The new location is Grand Ballet Academy. You will find that the beautiful and spacious studios offer us sturdy barres on the walls, a bit more space and sprung Marley floors for going across the floor!
The new time slot for Sunday workshops beginning in October is 12PM - 2PM, so there is a little extra time to hit that snooze button :P There is a parking lot and plenty of street parking, which should be free on Sundays.
October TURNS into Fall Season and to celebrate we'll JUMP for joy and focus on the solid technique necessary to safely execute TURNS & JUMPS. TURNS & JUMPS workshop features a specific barre warm-up followed by center exercises and drills designed specifically to train the neuromuscular components, physical alignment and coordination for safe and clean execution of pirouettes, petite allegro and grande allegro.

HOLIDAY CHOREOGRAPHY WORKSHOP w/Susy
THREE SUNDAYS ONLY!12/7, 12/14, 12/21
It's that time again...Nutcracker Season!!!! Join us for a fun Nutcracker Variations Workshop Series for three dates only, commencing on 12/7 from 12PM -2PM. After a brief warm-up, this workshop consists of learning, refining and finally dancing the Sugar Plum Fairy variation in small groups on the final day. On 12/14 you will have an opportunity to practice the variation in one of six professional pull on practice tutus and on the last day, 12/21 "perform" the variation in small groups in the tutu of your choice. I embellished and adorned these practice tutus so you can shine as you dance! The final workshop "performance" on 12/21 will be filmed.*
Taking technique class durning the week is strongly encouraged so as to strengthen and clarify various technical elements from this variation and to build stamina; you will need it! This workshop is not en pointe.
